Great Escapes Horse Rescue and Sanctuary is always looking for volunteers! With over 45 horses and donkeys there is always daily maintenance, grooming, and general handling. We also have a great need for volunteers with advanced skills in training, riding, and fence building.
Horse of the month
Our first horse of the month is actually a donkey. Meet Senor Carrots! This guy is the most lovable guy there is. He seeks out people for ALL the hugs and pets. His best friend is Cash, a 15.2 hand palomino.
